Our Gelatinized Maca powder (also known as Cooked Peruvian Ginseng) is cold pressed, natural, organic and gluten free. Gelatinized Maca powder is boiled and pressurized to remove the starch content, hence making it easier to digest than the raw maca powder. Gelatinized maca powder also has more concentrated nutrients than raw maca powder since 4kg of raw maca powder is used to boil to 1kg of gelatinized maca powder. Since gelatinized maca powder has already been cooked, it can be consumed immediately without the need to boil it unlike raw maca powder. Maca is mildly nutty with a hint of butterscotch. It can be added into food and drinks.
