Lead your Superlife: Healthy, Happy, Confident
Sustainable Agriculture Superlife Co. significantly believes in and adopts sustainable agriculture in the creation of our products. A farming process that enhances the quality of life of the farmers and the quality of the farm’s environment is one that Superlife Co. strives to maintain, as it is imperative, especially in today’s day and age, that we take good care of our hard-working farmers and our precious natural resources.
Sustainable Quinoa Farm In Peru, the demand for Quinoa has become so high that Peruvians can no longer afford the grains. In response to this issue, we have decided to pay a premium for our quinoa to improve the lives of the farmers and their families, as the premium enables the farming community to afford daily healthy meals, build schools and other acts that improve the society they live in. We believe that by giving the farmers better food for their families and better education for their children, the farming community will have more motivation to better farming ethics and processes, which will resultantly improve harvests. Sustainable Cacao Farm The cacao beans from Kilombero Valley, Tanzania, are purchased directly from the farmers, where we have to pay a 22% premium above market rate to get the cacao beans. The premium paid allows the farmers to build better lives by putting a roof over their heads, sending their kids to better schools, eating nutritious food, etc, which in turn increases the overall productivity of the cacao production. On top of that, this leads to the consistency of the quality of the cacao beans since they are able to conduct their own drying and fermentation of the beans with the premium received. The project will benefit the household incomes of 4,000 families of whom 33% are women-led homes, totaling an estimated 1,350 female cocoa farmers.
