Super Recipe – Breakfast Quinoa Cacao Porridge

Packed with antioxidants, this naturally sweet breakfast is the perfect energy booster you need before facing your day! Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Superlife Co. White Quinoa
  • 1 1/2 cup Almond Milk
  • 100g Blueberries
  • 1 tbsp Superlife Co. Cacao Powder
  • *Optional: 1 tbsp sweetener of your choice (eg. Maple Syrup, Agave, Brown Sugar, etc)
  • Toppings: Blueberries, almonds, chocolate chips, desiccated coconut
*This breakfast quinoa is already naturally sweet from the sugars in the blueberries. However, if you like your porridge extra sweet, feel free to add your sweetener of preference.  Directions
  1. In a saucepan, add the quinoa, almond milk, cacao powder, blueberries and sweetener (if you choose to use any).
  2. Simmer on low to medium heat for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the almond milk has been well absorbed. Stir occasionally.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and top it off with your favourite toppings!
