Superfriend Series – Miao

The fourth episode of our YouTube Channel’s Superfriend Series features our new customer, Miao. She hasn’t always been a health conscious person. Miao was slightly chubbier when she was younger as she ate quite a fair amount of unhealthy foods. At one point she decided she needed to change and turned her diet around. Miao mentioned that when she began her lifestyle change, she tried cutting down food portions in order to lose weight without thinking about nutritional values. She soon realized that doing so made her feel very weak and tired. She then found some research stating that nutrient dense superfoods help in maintaining energy levels throughout the day and helps you lose weight! Thus she delved into the world of superfoods, her favorite being quinoa seeds. She loves to mix quinoa with roasted butternut squash and feta cheese. Sounds delicious indeed! Miao highlights that turning your lifestyle around and incorporating superfoods into your diet is not an overnight change. It takes time, everyone’s journey is different and we should simply be consistent in maintaining a healthy routine. As we believe that everyone has different health journeys, it is important that all experiences are shared with our community.
