Eating Processed Food Leads to Fat Cells Accumulation
Accoding to Maya Feller, a New York-based dietitian, the quality of what we eat is very important. A diet that is based on whole and minimally processed foods without an excess of added sugars, salts and saturated fats is more important for weight loss.
By sticking strictly to calorie counting, you might choose a 45 calorie chocolate cookie that is full of chemical, preservatives and additives instead of a 300 calorie whole grain meal such as quinoa meal. The key thing here is that since your body cannot recognize the chemical from the chocolate cookie, it will store them as fat cell. In the long run, it is not only detrimental to your health but also leads to weight gain. On the other hand, by eatiing natural, non processed food, your body will be able to process them easily.
A sustainable weight loss plan is always one that involves a satisfying nutritious meal that your body can process.
