
Super Recipe – Breakfast Quinoa Cacao Porridge
Packed with antioxidants, this naturally sweet breakfast is the perfect energy booster you need before facing your day!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Superlife Co. White Quinoa
- 1 1/2 cup Almond Milk
- 100g Blueberries
- 1 tbsp Superlife Co. Cacao Powder
- *Optional: 1 tbsp sweetener of your choice (eg. Maple Syrup, Agave, Brown Sugar, etc)
- Toppings: Blueberries, almonds, chocolate chips, desiccated coconut
*This breakfast quinoa is already naturally sweet from the sugars in the blueberries. However, if you like your porridge extra sweet, feel free to add your sweetener of preference.
Directions
- In a saucepan, add the quinoa, almond milk, cacao powder, blueberries and sweetener (if you choose to use any).
- Simmer on low to medium heat for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the almond milk has been well absorbed. Stir occasionally.
- Transfer to a bowl and top it off with your favourite toppings!
